Watching some pastors nowadays showcasing on different television stations on how many miracles they can perform through different moving testimonies, only a few will doubt their power.
But for 51-year-old Mcmillan Butali, these adverts are torturing. He cannot forget the suffering he went through three years ago when his daughter Sarah Mutuwa, an S.6 student then at Seeta High School, nearly went insane.
Like any caring parent, he worked tirelessly to have his daughter regain her senses and of course some of the measures he undertook were to seek help from a number of pastors and charismatic Catholic priests as advised by friends.

At Pastor Samuel Kakande’s church in Mulago, Butali was denied entrance because he lacked medical forms to prove that doctors had failed to heal his daughter. Since Butali only possessed receipts from counsellors, he could not be helped.

He was convinced that his daughter had no sickness, but was possessed by demons. For Butali, the turning point came when he visited Pastor Augustine Yiga’s church in Kawaala.
Here, Butali recalls that if one had no money, they could not join the queue of those in need of healing. Before one joined this queue, they had to state the amount of money they had and then register their particulars.

In the registration book, they put down their full names, place of residence and phone contacts, so that they could keep track of them. According to Butali, after payments were made, people were grouped according to how much they had paid and those who had paid more than Shs 100,000 would enter first, individually.
The rest who paid less than Shs 50,000 each, entered in groups to be prayed for. Within this make-shift church, Butali says there is a small room, where the pastor sits and one has to remove their shoes before they enter.

Inside this room, there is one table and a chair to accommodate the pastor; the rest kneel down. Each time one enters, this room is closed and there is no Bible in sight. Before prayer, everyone has to have their eyes closed and the only sound one hears is that of the whirring fan.

Butali recalls that after prayer, Yiga asked him to take photographs of some of his family members and bring them during his next encounter so that he could pray for them but at fee of Shs 500,000.

“It is from here that I realized I was being conned and that is why I stopped going to his church. Afterall he also failed to heal my daughter. But since these people keep track of you,  I one time received a message that I could now take Shs 100,000, then another day, the message read, I could now give them Shs 50,000. So, you see the kind of religious leaders we have today,” Butali said.

Even while Butali has stopped going to Kawaala, he says to date he still receives messages from the church, offering him ‘prayer packages’. Butali has been so turned off by what he encountered in Kawaala, that he forbids his family members to tune in to Pentecostal sermons on radio or TV, because he now believes all pastors are like that.

Efforts to talk to Yiga, who is also nicknamed Abizaayo for his controversial doctrine of sending witchcraft charms back to torment their senders, were fruitless as his known telephone line was switched off. Butali is, nonetheless, thankful that through constant prayers and fasting, his daughter got healed.

“She sat for her UNEB exams after missing out nearly all the three terms of study and excelled,” says a proud Butali. Mutuwa is now in her third year at Makerere University.

Apostle Alex Mitala, the chairman of the National Fellowship of Born-again churches condemns the act of charging money for prayers. Pentecostal pastors do not charge believers for healing prayers or any other prayers.

According to Mitala, Jesus said, “I have given to you freely, so do the same to others.” He, however, pointed out that Catholics too charge for prayers.

“To conduct prayers either for the dead or mass for anything, they ask for money. I think this is why this disease is spreading so fast,” he argued.

But Fr Fred Jjenga, the Director of Holy Cross Ministries in Nsambya, says there is no such habit as charging money for prayers in the Catholic church. He said there are only a few fees levied to process church work like printing baptism cards during baptism and also to facilitate priests in case they are to travel upcountry to conduct prayers.

Ronald Mukiibi, a pastor at Victory Christian Centre in Ndeeba, also believes it is not biblically right for religious leaders to charge for prayers, irrespective of denomination.

But those who have been healed are quick to hail the practice. Others blame this attitude on people coming to God from backgrounds steeped in ancestral worship and sorcery, where hefty payments and sacrifices being made to the gods in return for favours is not strange. The same practice is now sadly slowly creeping into the church.

In Summary
Wrongly accused. Mzee Lomoromoi is one of the survivors of the 1986 massacre that claimed 71 lives in Kitgum after then NRA soldiers, accused them of being rebels.

Gulu/ Kitgum-You can’t push away the sadness that engulfs you as Mzee Ventorino Okidi Lomoromoi opens up about his ordeal as a massacre survivor.
Twenty eight years ago, the 72-year-old says he was sodomised and tortured by then National Resistance Army (NRA) soldiers, now UPDF.
Mzee Okidi is one of the few survivors of the Namokora massacre that claimed 71 lives in Oryang village, Omiya-nyima Sub-county in Kitgum District in 1986.
The victims were accused by the NRA’s 35th Battalion soldiers of being Lord’s Resistance Army rebel collaborators at the time.
Today, Okidi looks strong outwardly, but the pain in he has endured over the years makes him a weakling inside.
“I am lucky to be alive and tell my story to the world. No one expected I would still be alive considering the injuries I got but God is still protecting me,” Mzee Okidi says.
A father of nine children, Mzee Okidi, was a primary school teacher at Lajok Ogayo Primary School in Kitgum District when he met his fate in August 1986.
“We were on our way back home in the afternoon with my fellow teachers after dispersing pupils following insecurity in the area, when a group of soldiers intercepted and ordered us to stop while referring to us as rebels who were most wanted,” Mzee Okidi narrates.
He added that they were tied up with ropes and severely beaten before being taken to a church in the evening where hundreds of other civilians were being held.
“The soldiers never allowed us to look up or at them. We crawled under benches to find space in the packed church. The stench of blood from fresh wounds filled the church while other people who sustained grave injuries passed on as we watched,” Mzee Okidi says.
Mzee Okidi said the following day, more than 98 people who were detained at the church were all herded on an army truck with promises that they were being taken to face the court martial to decide their fate.
“As people boarded the truck, the soldiers beat us while some were cutting us with pangas so that people would board the truck very fast. My testicles were pierced in the process and I sustained injuries,” he said.
Mzee Okidi says they were driven a few kilometers out of town but entered an ambush purportedly set by the soldiers to kill them.
“Soldiers started shooting at people indiscriminately. How I survived in that ambush remains a miracle to-date. Dead bodies littered the area as the soldiers intensified search on people that had managed to escape,” he says, adding that he also hid in the near bush.
Life after
Mzee Okidi said after the gruesome attack that left him with grave injuries and pain, he could not go to hospital for medical attention for fear of being found by the soldiers.
“I was treated with warm water and herbs, which my wife would collect from the nearby bushes. Due to insufficient treatment that time, I still have pain in my abdomen and I cannot sit or move with ease,” he says.

He added that his teaching job also ended because he never went back to teach following the immense pain he had.
He also says he has not been able to educate his children, since his job as a teacher was the only source of livelihood he had.
Mzee Okidi says he has for long waited for reparation from the government, but over the years, nothing has come his way.
“As a victim/survivor of the Namokora massacre, I expected the government to come to my rescue in terms of medical treatment and compensation for the damages the government’s soldiers caused in my life,” he laments.
Mr Gabriel Otuku-Tip, whose father was killed in his presence, says their education was cut short, leaving them with no one to fend for the family.

“After the death of our father, we dropped out of school. The government owes us a lot since it failed to protect us during the war,” he says.
But 5th Division Army spokesperson Telefphor Turyamumanya said the allegations need to be studied first, adding that as NRA (now UPDF), they do not condone any indiscipline.
Army wants evidence
“In case he has evidence, he should bring it to us for further investigation. As far as I know, these are individual behaviour that should not be blamed on UPDF as an institution,” he says.
The chairperson Namokora Sub-county, Mr Charles Onen, also chairperson Namokora United Relatives of the Massacred and Survivors Association, says the government should come up with a clear plan to address their needs especially in areas of health.

“Innocent civilians were butchered and up to now the government is silent about it.
Justice is not coming our way. We feel abandoned by the government. It failed to protect us and has failed to come to our rescue even when we have ailing health,” he says.
Ms Evelyn Akullo, the team leader documentation at Justice and Reconciliation Project said: “Women were raped in the presence of their children, men sodomised and up to now they have never regained their manhood.”
She says the government should speed up investigation of the incidents in which government soldiers involved themselves in abusing the rights of the civilians they were meant to protect.
She adds that at the moment, the Justice and Reconciliation Project has documented the Mucwini massacre in Kitgum (56 dead), Atiak Massacre in Amuru District (200 dead), Bucooro in Gulu (10 buried alive), Lukodi, Bungatira Sub County in Gulu (54 people killed by the rebels).
Others are Mukura in Teso region (69 people killed) and Omabchi (over 100 people killed in 1981).
Justice and Reconciliation Project, is a non-governmental organisation, that was established in Gulu District in 2005.
It aims at understanding and explaining the interests, needs, concerns and views of communities affected by the conflict and promote sustainable peace through active involvement of war affected communities in research and advocacy.
They raped women in Church- Mzee Okide

Mzee Lomoromoi, said at 7pm on the evening they were held, two soldiers who were manning the church forcefully took him out of the church and ordered him to remove his trousers saying, “we want to show you that you are like a woman”.

Mzee Lomoromoi says he was sodomised in turns by two soldiers, something that has left him with injuries that have not healed to date.
He adds that other men were also sodomised while women were raped in front of each other inside the church.
Museveni's admission
Investigating atrocities. While celebrating the 28th anniversary of the NRM government in Mayuge District in February this year, President Museveni, said the army would investigate cases of atrocities committed by soldiers in the early 1990s and punish the culprits.
Atrocities committed. However, the President’s statement did not go well with the local and religious leaders in the region.
Rtd Bishop of Kitgum Diocese Macleod Baker Ochola said is not fair for President Museveni to involve himself in investigating soldiers who committed these crimes, knowing very well he was their commander-in-chief and expect his ideas to be welcomed.
“There is need to establish a truth and reconciliation commission to investigate the anomalies that the army did at the time,” he said.

MONROVIA - Seventeen Ebola patients in Liberia who fled from a quarantine centre after it was attacked by club-wielding youths were missing on Sunday, striking a fresh blow to efforts to contain the deadly virus.

The attack on the Monrovia centre late Saturday highlighted the challenge faced by health authorities battling the epidemic that has killed 1,145 people since it erupted in west Africa early this year, spreading panic among local populations.

Doctors and nurses are not only fighting the disease, but a deep mistrust in communities often in the thrall of wild rumours that the virus was invented by the West or is a hoax.

"They broke down the door and looted the place. The patients have all gone," said Rebecca Wesseh, who witnessed the raid in the Liberian capital's densely populated West Point slum.

The attackers, mostly young men armed with clubs, shouted insults about President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and yelled "there's no Ebola," she said, adding that nurses had also fled the centre.

A health ministry official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the youths took away medicines, mattresses and bedding from the high school which had been turned into an isolation centre to deal with the rapidly spreading virus.

The head of the Health Workers Association of Liberia, George Williams, said the unit housed 29 patients who "had all tested positive for Ebola" and were receiving preliminary treatment before being taken to hospital.

"Of the 29 patients, 17 fled last night (after the assault). Nine died four days ago and three others were yesterday taken by force by their relatives" from the centre, he said.

Ebola is spread by contact with an infected person's bodily fluids, such as sweat and blood, and no cure or vaccine is currently available.

Victims in their final days are wracked by agonising muscular pain, vomiting, diarrhoea and catastrophic haemorrhaging described as "bleeding out," as vital organs break down.

Fallah Boima's son was admitted to the ward four days ago, and seemed to be doing well, but when the distraught father arrived for his daily visit on Sunday his son was nowhere to be seen.

"This morning I came and the security man told me that I cannot enter because the people here attacked the place," Boima told AFP.

"I don't know where he is and I am very confused. He has not called me since he left the camp. Now that the nurses have all left how will I know where my son is."

'Cannibalistic rituals'

In Monrovia, residents had opposed the creation of the quarantine centre, set up by health authorities in a part of the capital seen as an epicentre of the Ebola outbreak.

"We told them not to (build) their camp here. They didn't listen to us," said a young resident, who declined to give his name. "This Ebola business, we don't believe it."

Neighbouring Sierra Leone has also battled to get patients to comply with quarantine measures as myths spread about the virus.

On Sunday, a 25-year-old patient suspected of having Ebola broke out of his isolation centre "for about an hour" before being escorted back, said health ministry spokesman Yahya Tunis.

Last month thousands tried to storm the main Ebola hospital in the eastern city of Kenema, threatening to burn it down and remove patients.

Local police chief Alfred Karrow-Kamara said the panic was caused by a former nurse who reportedly told people in the nearby fish market that Ebola was a pretence for "carrying out cannibalistic rituals".

Some 1,500 police and soldiers have been deployed in the worst-hit areas of Sierra Leone to prevent raids, but they are powerless in the face of the suspicion and fear of poorly educated traditional communities.

Health workers' pleas that relatives stop bathing the dead -- who are highly contagious -- have also increased suspicions, as many in traditional communities see ritual washing as a way of honouring the departed.

Former Sierra Leone youth and education minister Lansana Nyallah, who lost nine of his family to the virus, tried to address myths about it head on, saying: "To those who still believe that Ebola does not exist, please take heed."

Folk cures for the disease have proliferated. In Nigeria two people died and some 20 were hospitalised after they ingested an excessive amount of salt believing it could prevent Ebola.

There have also been reports in Liberia of people drinking chlorine in the hope that it will keep the disease at bay.

The Ebola outbreak, the worst since the virus first appeared in 1976, has claimed 413 lives in Liberia, 380 in Guinea, 348 in Sierra Leone and four in Nigeria, according to the World Health Organization's latest figures released August 13.

ENTEBBE - Authorities at Entebbe Airport have placed an unidentified woman traveling from Nigeria under isolation, after she developed signs of Ebola virus disease.

The Ministry of health on Monday confirmed that tests had been carried out on the patient to determine if she has Ebola.

“It is true that someone suspected to have Ebola was been isolated. Samples from the patient have been taken to the Uganda Virus Research Institute in Entebbe and test results will be out in 24 hours,” the health ministry’s spokesperson, Rukia Nakamatte said

She, however, said preliminary investigations had shown that the suspect did not have contact with confirmed cases, one of the ways Ebola is transmitted.

Ebola is spread by contact with an infected person's bodily fluids, such as sweat and blood, and no cure or vaccine is currently available.

The disease has so far killed more than 1,415 people in Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.

Details of the Ebola suspect have not been disclosed but she was said to be a university student.

West Africa travels cut

Kenya’s Health Cabinet Secretary, James Macharia on Saturday said the country would close its borders to travellers from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Tanzanian Health Ministry advised citizens to postpone all travel to countries where the disease has been detected. Rwanda’s health ministry said its surveillance and emergency management systems were on alert.

All East African Community (EAC) countries have stepped up disease surveillance at their major airports by establishing screening centres.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the epidemic an international health emergency and appealed for global aid to stem the spread.

In a show of solidarity, Canada and the United States have pledged to send consignments of experimental drugs to the West African nations.

Last week, WHO lowered the risk of transmission of Ebola virus during air travel and did not recommend a ban on international travel or trade.

Experts maintained, unlike infections such as influenza or tuberculosis, the risk of transmission during travel was low since Ebola is not airborne.

The death toll from an Ebola outbreak that began at the start of the year stands at 1,145 in four afflicted west African countries: Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria. Kailahun, the traditional home of around 30,000 mainly Mende tribespeople, and Kenema account for the lion's share of Sierra Leone's 810 cases and 384 deaths.

The Ebola Outbreak: U.S. Sponsored Bioterror?

Global Research, August 16, 2014

We can now be extraordinarily confident that the U.S. government is lying, in key material respects, about the latest Ebola outbreak—and not just because it lies about nearly everything of political consequence.  This article shows that there are compelling reasons to believe we are being told three big lies about Ebola.  It also offers a simple, rational, yet disturbing, explanation that very tidily accounts for all three lies.  The explanation supposes that the current Ebola outbreak consists in an act of U.S.-linked bioterror.

One key U.S. driven lie has to do with the Western MSM’s insistence that nobody of any repute believes that Ebola might be airborne.  On this issue, the Public Health Agency of Canada remarks:

In the laboratory, infection through small-particle aerosols has been demonstrated in primates, and airborne spread among humans is strongly suspected, although it has not yet been conclusively demonstrated (1, 6, 13).  The importance of this route of transmission is not clear. Poor hygienic conditions can aid the spread of the virus.

A few scientific studies expressing concern about the airborne possibility are cited in this article, and other such studies are not hard to find.

So there are people with authority to speak to the issue who believe that there is some cause for concern regarding the airborne Ebola prospect, but the U.S. government/MSM complex instead lies and acts like this isn’t the case.

Before getting to the second U.S. lie, it is important to mention three facts that have not received enough discussion.  First—and this may be of pivotal significance–we still have no ideahow Ebolagot to West Africa.  See for yourself; there’s never been an Ebola outbreak in West Africa before.

Perhaps the racist U.S./MSM view is that all African countries are the same, so who cares?

Second, the current outbreak, in terms of the number and international breadth of infections, does seem to be far more contagious than any previous outbreak; as the previous link shows, we now have at least 1,975 cases.

Now pause for a moment and take this fully on board: the 1,975 cases exceed the total number of Ebola cases from 1977 to 2014’s outbreak.  So it’s no surprise that we have, for example, signs of infected individuals in Albania.

The second lie really is a lie of nondisclosure, and concerns the reality that the MSM has not told us that we are dealing with a biologically distinct form of Ebola that has never been seen before.

So, consider the following disconcerting information appearing in the New England Journal of Medicine in April 2014 regarding the current West African, Guinean outbreak of Ebola:

Phylogenetic analysis of the full-length sequences established a separate clade for the Guinean EBOV strain in sister relationship with other known EBOV strains. This suggests that the EBOV strain from Guinea has evolved in parallel with the strains from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Gabon from a recent ancestor and has not been introduced from the latter countries into Guinea. Potential reservoirs of EBOV, fruit bats of the  species Hypsignathusmonstrosus, Epomopsfranqueti, & Myonycteristorquata, are present in large parts of West Africa.18 It is possible that EBOV has circulated undetected in this region for some time. The emergence of the virus in Guinea highlights the risk of EBOV outbreaks in the whole West African subregion.

Furthermore, from the same study:

The high degree of similarity among the 15 partial L gene sequences, along with the three full-length sequences and the epidemiologic links between the cases, suggest a single introduction of the virus into the human population. This introduction seems to have happened in early December 2013 or even before.

So, the Guinean variant of Ebola we now confront has been found to be sufficiently genetically distinct from all previous versions of Ebola that it has been assigned its own genetic branch, or clade, and it is believed to have evolved in parallel from an ancestor held in common with a variant of Ebola native to the Democratic Republic of Congo and Gabon. Moreover, the current outbreak began not in June or July, but as early as April 2014 and perhaps even earlier than December, 2013.

And, we seem to have a single introduction of the Guinea (West African) Ebola variant into the human population.  Thus, we seem not to have, for example, something along the lines of multiple bites of humans by supposedly Guinea variant Ebola infected fruit bats.
Finally, the Western Africa Ebola outbreak does not appear to be traceable to Central Africa or anywhere else, and so we still do not know how Ebola got to West Africa.

Let us briefly summarize before presenting the third U.S. Ebola lie and concluding with a reasonable explanation that ties the three lies together.

The Guinea Ebola variant has never been seen before.  It might well be far more contagious than any Ebola variant hitherto encountered; it could even be airborne.  We still have no idea how Ebola arose in West Africa, but it did so some time ago—well before the Western MSM started to spew its lies.

Now the third U.S. Ebola lie: In a Matt Drudge-linked article entitled “The Federal Government’s Inconsistent Ebola Story”, we find that the U.S. government is telling two completely inconsistent stories regarding the circumstances surrounding delivery of MappPharmaceuticals’ magic ZMapp Ebola drug to Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol.  Thus, we have:

According to the CDC, it was Samaritan’s Purse, the private humanitarian organization that employs Dr. Brantley, who reached out to them in an attempt to find an experimental Ebola drug. The CDC says it passed Samaritan’s Purse along to NIH, who referred them to contacts within Mapp.

“This experimental treatment was arranged privately by Samaritan’s Purse,” the CDC said. “Samaritan’s Purse contacted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who referred them to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). NIH was able to provide the organization with the appropriate contacts at the private company developing this treatment. The NIH was not involved with procuring, transporting, approving, or administering the experimental treatments.”

The New York Times first reported this version of events on Aug. 6, and the statement was posted on the CDC’s website a few days later, where it remains.

But, as the Morning Consult reports in the same article, we also have:
But the NIH told Morning Consult one of its scientists on the ground in West Africa approached the charity before the group had even decided to pursue an experimental alternative.

“The NIH scientist who was in West Africa referred Samaritan’s Purse to company contacts because they were best equipped to answer questions about the status of their experimental treatment,” the agency said in an email to Morning Consult. “This occurred before Samaritan’s Purse decided to pursue an experimental therapy.”

A statement from Samaritan’s Purse also conflicts with the CDC’s telling of events, and indicates the NIH and other government agencies may have played an active role in procuring the drugs.

“The experimental medication given to Dr. Brantley was recommended to us,” the group said. “We didn’t seek it out, but worked with the National Institutes of Health and other government agencies to obtain this medication.”
Hence, we have the U.S. government saying both that delivery of the drug to the aid workers was initially government’s idea, and that it wasn’t initially government’s idea.  Since both of these possibilities cannot be true, we have our third U.S. federal Ebola lie.

But whose idea was it, really, to deliver the ZMapp magic serum (which is said to have begun reversing Brantly’s condition within 20 minutes to an hour)?  In all likelihood it was the U.S. government’s idea, at a minimum for the following reason mentioned in the Morning Consult article:

If [Mapp] did this on their own, they must have had unbelievable confidence in the product and lawyers who know this up and down,” Vox said. “If they went this alone, their investors should be worried, because that’s reckless. A team of scientists could get in a lot of trouble doing that, and I can’t imagine they run their company that way, especially considering they have support from the Department of Defense.

Let’s put all of the above together and move toward wrapping matters up.We have what appears to be the most contagious variant of Ebola ever encountered, its genetic form is novel in important respects, and we still have no idea how it arose in West Africa.

Yet, we are told that an experimental drug, ZMapp—produced by a previously unheard of U.S. firm with U.S. Department of Defense ties—is functioning in miraculous fashion.  Furthermore, the U.S. government cannot keep its story straight about who initiated the delivery of the experimental drug to the U.S. aid workers, but there are compelling reasons to suppose it was the U.S. government that engineered the delivery.

All of the foregoing should prompt us to ask: When was Mapp Pharmaceutical’s magic drug ZMappdeveloped?

The following language, drawn from an article at International Business Times, might provide guidance:

A statement from Mapp said:

“ZMapp is the result of a collaboration between Mapp Biopharmaceutical Inc, LeafBio, DefyrusInc, the US government and Public Health Agency of Canada.

“ZMapp is composed of three ‘humanised’ monoclonal antibodies manufactured in plants, specifically Nicotiana. It is an optimised cocktail combining the best components of MB-003 and ZMAb.

“ZMapp was first identified as a drug candidate in January 2014 and has not yet been evaluated for safety in humans. As such, very little of the drug is currently available. Any decision to use an experimental drug in a patient would be a decision made by the treating physician under the regulatory guidelines of the FDA.

One very interesting thing to note is the parties involved in producing ZMapp.  Two of the parties are the U.S. government and the Public Health Agency of Canada—and the Public Health Agency of Canada, you will recall, is the very same agency that “strongly suspects” that Ebola might be airborne (see the second paragraph of this article).  Yet, we are constantly told the U.S. government suspects no such thing.

But there are even more important things to consider.

Does “ZMapp was first identified as a drug candidate in January 2014” mean that ZMappwas designed from the ground up, pretty much when the outbreak began, with the specific purpose of treating the Guinea Ebola variant (see above for timing of the outbreak)?  Or, does it mean that ZMapp was repurposed in some way to grapple with the Guinea variant?  Or does it perhaps mean something else entirely?

In any event, if the above MappPharmaceuticals statement is true, this much is perfectly clear: a major decision about ZMapp and its potential efficacy was made in January 2014, and that decision appears to have been made very close on the heels of the beginning of the current Guinea Ebola outbreak.

Therefore, if ZMapp really is the miraculous success it is purported to be, we are given to believe that, in Research and Development terms, results must have been achieved virtually overnight.    This is because with the beginning of the outbreak of the brand newGuinea Ebola variant dated to around December 2013, Mapp could not possibly have had much time before its January 2014 decision to target the Guinea Ebola variant with ZMapp.

Or might Mappin fact have had plenty of time?

One possibility is that Mappdid have plenty of time, because it knew about the brand new Ebola variant before its debut appearance in West Africa.  This would be very strong evidence of a bioterror conspiracy, would it not?  Of course, we are very far from sure about this prospect.

However, even if we are to believe that Mapp did not know about the novel Guinea Ebola variant before that variant’s first appearance, but did in fact advance anyway with ZMapp againstthe Guinea variant in January 2014, wemust still ask exactly how ZM appended up being effective against a brand new variant Mapp would, under the present assumption, have only just encountered.

Perhaps Mapp had been in the process of designing ZMapp so that it could successfully attack already extant Ebola variants, and whatever properties made it effective against those already extant variants also transferred to the novel Guinea variant?

Maybe.

But if that is so, ZMapp should prove successful against variants of Ebola other than the Guinea variant.  Will it?

If it doesn’t prove successful against variants of Ebola other than the Guinea variant, I do not see how one can logically avoid the conclusion that the West African rooted, Guinea variant of Ebola amounts to U.S. government linked bioterror.

Unless, of course, one is willing to invoke what amounts to a miraculous stroke of luck consisting in the design of a solution that successfully attacks something that’s never been seen before and was not anticipated—even though the solution fails against related versions of the same problem.

In closing, please note that the U.S. act of bioterror explanation economically accounts for all three U.S. lies discussed in the article.  It explains why the U.S. government is lying about the airborne status of Ebola, why the U.S. government/MSM hybrid is in no hurry to disclose the geographical and virological novelties of the Guinea variant, and, finally, why the U.S. government, out of one side of its mouth, wants to act like its “miracle experimental drug” had to be pried out of its greedy and comprehensive regulatory hands.

It must be stated, though, that there is one last possibility after all, which is that the Dr. Kent Brantly miracle recovery is no real recovery at all.

Liberian Minister Allowed Ebola-Infected American to Travel to Africa’s Largest City. Fuels Belief Outbreak is a “Government Conspiracy”

Why Was Ebola-Infected Patrick Sawyer Cleared for Travel?

Global Research, August 17, 2014

Activist Post 16 August 2014

And why aren’t any media outlets outside of Africa talking about it?

Another scandal surrounding Ebola has exploded in Africa.

As reported in African media, such as DailyPost Nigeria,Sahara Reporters, and All Africa (but nowhere I’ve found in the American mainstream media), it has now come out the Liberian government likely knew that Patrick Sawyer was infected with the Ebola virus but cleared him for travel anyway.

If you recall, Patrick Sawyer is the Liberian-American consultant with the Liberian Ministry of Finance who was en route to Lagos, Nigeria when he collapsed at the Lagos airport — Lagos being the largest city in Africa. Sawyer was on his way to a work conference. He is the first American to have died of Ebola, and as was widely reported stateside, he was planning a trip to Minnesota where his wife and children reside after he concluded business in Nigeria.

If Sawyer had made it stateside, he would have brought the disease with him.

Well, now it has come out that Deputy Finance Minister of Liberia Sebastian Omar approved Sawyer’s travel despite knowledge Sawyer was probably infected with Ebola.

Omar has stated that Sawyer was his friend, so he could not have stopped him from traveling, and he has said he owes no apology for potentially putting millions of lives at risk.

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has publicly denounced Sawyer as “a mad man,” but perhaps his statement is misplaced; perhaps it should have gone to Omar.

When questioned by the people on giving travel approval, Omar responded angrily and with no apologies (via DailyPost Nigeria):

“This does not excuse you from asking the questions as a government official that would safeguard the lives of our citizens and your international partners. It is your duty, again as a Government official not wanting to go above and beyond his duty to safeguard our population,” another fan blasted.

Apparently angered by his comment, Omar replied, “I do not owe you any explanation. POS (Patrick Sawyer) was a Public Health Practitioner if you must know. The Ugandan doctor was a medical doctor if you again must know. They are no more. So the freaking issue is not why he lied or didn’t lie to travel, but how we address the freaking disease.

“If you don’t have jack to say in that direction then frankly shut up on the subject. Sebastian Muah doesn’t have time today frankly for your rants” a visibly angry Omar said.

Another fan identified as Omar Tariq said, “oh, hell yes you do owe Liberians and the International Community an explanation, Sebastian Muah. This is the complete arrogance of you people in government.

“How do you tell us such nonsense. You have through your negligence of not asking the proper questions exposed others to such a horrible Virus and you on here talking bull. A friend is dead, I am sorry but you have some answering to do since you want to brag that you approved his travels.”

In his reply, Omar said, “the old people say empty drum makes the loudest noise. So you will be talking by yourself, as I see you don’t know what you are talking about and as a matter of finding solution, you do not have any but trying to find blame. Someone must have frustrated the hell out of you in Liberia… Take me to the International Court since I am guilty of approving a travel.”

Interesting that while all of the mainstream media outlets here were quick to tell everyone Sawyer was “just one plane ride away” from bringing Ebola home to the United States, none of them are talking about how a man knowingly infected with Ebola was approved to leave the country by his superior to potentially do so in the first place.

Sawyer was the first case of Ebola to show up in Nigeria. There was no Ebola there until Sawyer brought it there. The nurse who treated Sawyer briefly after he collapsed in Lagos has since died from the disease.

If anything, this just adds fuel to the fire than many West Africans believe the Ebola outbreak is a government conspiracy.

Pastor Rick Warren announces plans for the All Africa Purpose Driven Church Congress to be held Aug. 6-10, 2015. Warren made the announcement during a press conference held in Kigali, Rwanda, Aug. 11, 2014.

Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, and author of The Purpose Driven Life, announced plans earlier this week at a press conference in Kigali, Rwanda, to host an unprecedented gathering of pastors and church leaders from all 54 African nations in conjunction with a national day of Thanksgiving next year.

The All Africa Purpose Driven Church Congress, which is planned for August 6-10, 2015, will be held during Rwanda Shima Imana, a relatively new celebration in Rwanda, a "Day of Thanksgiving" to celebrate reconciliation and gratitude on the anniversary of the Rwandan genocide.
The conference will be the first of five annual continent-wide conferences to take place by 2020, with the second planned to be held in Latin America in 2016, organizers said.

"I have been to Rwanda many times but this is by far my most important trip," said Warren. "This week I am bringing over 100 leaders from 30 African nations as well as Russia, China, India and the U.S. I want them to see what is happening in this country and to see the growth, development and progress that has been made in both this nation and its churches as we prepare for the 2015 gathering."

President of Rwanda, His Excellency Paul Kagame,(R) joined Pastor Rick Warren Saturday evening for Kwibuka 20, a special service at Saddleback Church to honor the victims of the Rwandan genocide 20 years later and celebrate the partnership and efforts of The PEACE Plan in Rwanda over the past 10 years, April 26, 2014.

Warren explained how the idea for The PEACE Plan was birthed in 2003 while he was speaking in South Africa, but two years later following a call from His Excellency Paul Kagame, president of Rwanda, it became a reality as the country became the first Purpose Driven nation.

"I have been working with and watching the churches of Rwanda for nearly 10 years, and I believe now is the time for them to be a model to the world," Warren said. "It would be just like God to take a small nation like Rwanda on which the world turned its back 20 years ago in its greatest need and use it for God and for good."

Warren emphasized that as leadership training begins this week in Rwanda and continues in 2015 with the continent-wide gathering, it will emphasize reconciliation, with Rwandan leaders sharing their stories of forgiveness and healing following the 1994 genocide, which took the lives of 1 million Rwandans and left 1 million children orphaned over the course of 100 days.
"I believe the secret to Middle East peace is in Rwanda," said Warren. "World leaders should be studying Rwanda. This should be the model."

The 12 pastors who serve on the Rwanda PEACE Plan Board of Directors joined Warren for today's press conference along with eight of more than 25 leaders that serve as Master Trainers for PEACE.
"These men, whether you realize it or not, are world leaders," Warren said. "What they are doing with churches in Rwanda is being watched by churches all around the world."

The PEACE Plan works worldwide to Promote reconciliation, Equip servant leaders, Assist the poor, Care for the sick and Educate the next generation, through a massive effort to mobilize millions of Christians to combat the five global evil giants of spiritual emptiness, self-centered leadership, extreme poverty, pandemic disease and illiteracy/education, according to church officials. Since its founding, Saddleback has sent over 23,000 members to implement The PEACE Plan in all 197 nations of the world.

"Most nations are validated by their strength in exports; Rwanda can become famous for exporting leadership," Warren said. "Rwanda should be the leadership and innovation capital of the continent of Africa. That is why I am calling leaders from across the continent to come to Rwanda next year to learn. The strength of Rwanda is not in the ground; it's in the people."

Through The PEACE Plan in Rwanda, Saddleback Church has worked together with the public, private and faith sectors of the nation – what it calls the three-legged stool of churches, government and businesses – to help lower the poverty rate, empty orphanages, provide healthcare, train pastors and provide education.
"What makes The PEACE Plan unique is that it is done by local churches, in local churches, in the community," said Warren. "I could take you to 10 million villages around the world where the only thing there is the church. The church is the biggest organization on the planet and has most potential to do good if mobilized."

Over 3,200 pastors have completed a three-year intensive training in the purpose-driven PEACE Plan. These churches now offer everything from micro-savings clubs to preschools to programs training farmers how to double their crops on the same amount of land.

The media site AllAfrica.com reports that Rwanda Shima Imana is a national Christian Thanksgiving Day and was "inaugurated in 2012, by Peace Plan, a brainchild of Pastor Warren, with a presence in most Christian churches in Rwanda."

"It is a day when believers come together to thank God for the progress made in the country and the Church so far," according to AllAfrica.

The 3rd annual Thanksgiving crusade is this Sunday (Aug. 17), at the Amahoro stadium. Warren is a member of the Rwanda Presidential Advisory Council and would like to see Rwanda Shima Imana a public holiday, "just as [Thanksgiving] is in some other countries, including the US, Japan, and the Netherlands," reports AllAfrica.

"It is my prayer that this day becomes a national holiday just as it is in some parts of the world," Warren said. "Twenty years after the Genocide, we are now a new Rwanda. We have seen the country develop and have nothing to hold against God, other than celebrating what He has done for our country."
