And To Which “god” Were Pope Francis, Mahmoud Abbas and Shimon Peres Praying to at the Vatican in Rome?

Members of the Palestinian and Israeli delegations and guests of Pope Francis read a selection of Jewish, Christian and Muslim prayers, in order of their religions’ historical precedence. Each set of prayers praised God for creation, begged forgiveness of sins and asked for peace in the Holy Land. Patriarch Bartholomew read in English from the Book of Isaiah: “The wolf and the lamb shall feed together; the lion shall eat straw like the ox; but the serpent — its food shall be dust.” (Francis X. Rocca , Catholic news Service , Pope tells Middle East leaders only God can bring peace to Holy Land, June 9th, 2014, http://catholicphilly.com/2014/06/news/world-news/pope-tells-middle-east-leaders-only-god-can-bring-peace-to-holy-land/ )

And To Which “god” Were Pope Francis, Mahmoud Abbas and Shimon Peres Praying to at the Vatican in Rome?

http://www.soulrefuge.org/?p=9439

There has never been a lack of “spiritual leaders” in the world who have brought their religious talk, and their religious agenda to the gullible millions who are willing to listen to them. The current Roman Catholic Pope Francis recently gathered the Presidential leaders from Palestine and Israel to pray for peace in the Middle East, but who was the “god” to whom they were praying? Were they praying to the only true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? (Exodus 3:6, Matthew 22:32) Were they praying to the God who created all things? (Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 44:24, John 1:1-3) Do the scriptures back up that kind of prayer? It is rather interesting because the Pope previously entrusted the entire “Holy Land” into the care and protection of the Roman Catholic version of the “Blessed Virgin Mary”, before he left for his recent trip to the Middle East. Not only that but Mahmoud Abbas, the Islamic President of Palestine is a Muslim, and Muslims do not believe that God Almighty even has a Son. Add to all of that the truth that Shimon Peres, the Jewish President of Israel,  does not believe that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), nor the Son of God! So which “god” were those three leaders praying to? Does God honor the prayer of those who refuse to honor the Son whom he sent into the world? The scriptures show us that God the Father desires the Son to have the same honor as himself! Not only that but the Father has given ALL judgment to the Son of God, so it would be imperative that Pope Francis (Rome), President Abbas (Palestine) and President Peres (Israel) men get their priorities straight, and make their peace with the true and living God, before it is too late.

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:22-24)

Were All Three Praying to a false “god”
The present Pope Francis talks a lot about the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of truth as is declared in the following verse:

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13)

Jesus told us that the Holy Spirit will always testify about Jesus Christ:
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: (John 15:26)

Jesus referred to the Holy Spirit as the comforter, and I can assure you that the Holy Spirit will comfort you, and he will always point you to Jesus Christ. The Spirit of God will point you to the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and the blood which Jesus Christ shed for you. The Holy Spirit will always guide you through the scriptures, and it is quite obvious that a person must be born again of the Spirit in order to comprehend and understand these things.

Now as far as the Roman Catholic Pope Francis goes, I assure you that he is NOT representing the true born again believers in anyway. It was the Holy Spirit of truth who pulled me out from the cultish deception of the Roman Catholic church. The Holy Spirit showed me that the teachings of the Roman Catholic church were false and wicked to the very core. I would have been in gross disobedience to the Lord if I remained inside the Roman catholic church. Why? Because I would have been yoked with a system which preaches a false gospel, is filled with idolatry, and places their man-made tradition on an EQUAL level with the scriptures. That is why the Jewish apostle Paul wrote the following:

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

Rome teaches that a person is born again when they are baptized as an infant, and I know that is not true, because I was baptized as an infant and I was not born again at that time. More importantly though we learn that a person is born again of the spirit by faith in Jesus Christ. It is a spiritual transaction between the believer and the Lord.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:6-7)

The new birth is a spiritual birth, and without it a person is simply dead in their own sins, and on the dark road to an eternal Hell. That is what the Lord Jesus Christ told the Jewish ruler by the name of Nicodemus, and those words still stand are in effect today. The Lord would speak those same words to Pope Francis, President Shimon Peres, and President Mahmoud Abbas. “You must be born again!” In fact every person in the world must be born again if they ever want to get to Heaven!
Every person must be regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit. In fact the Bible tells us that if a person does NOT have the Holy Spirit then they do not belong to Christ!

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (Romans 8:9)
A person cannot earn the Holy Spirit, nor can they pay for him to come inside.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (Titus 3:5)

The Roman Catholic Pope is also the leader of a church that promotes the teachings of the council of Vatican II, which in turn uphold the teachings of the council of Trent. That same Council of Trent had over 100 anathemas (curses) against people who do not agree with their teachings. Those teachings include the teaching of the Roman Catholic Mass which declares that the Mass satisfies the Justice of God for sins committed against him. Folks if you know the Lord Jesus Christ, and you know that you have been born again of the Spirit, then you know that the teaching of the Mass is absolute blasphemy. The church of Rome promotes the worship of Mary, and you will always find the Popes regularly reciting their “Hail Mary” prayers before tens of thousands in St Peter’s Square in Rome. The church of Rome still teaches that there is a place called Purgatory where souls can be purified after death. St Peter’s in Rome was built on the funds contributed by deceived Roman Catholic people as they purchased indulgences. Some have been told by well known “Protestant” preachers that indulgences are no longer around, but that is not true. In fact the present Pope offered indulgences to those who followed a youth meeting in Brazil last year! Not only that but millions of Roman Catholics continue to have their Catholic Masses said by the local Priests so that their deceased loved ones can get out of Purgatory sooner! Where is the voice of the true men and women of God  who will speak out against such deception? Why do they remain silent? Why do they talk about revival (and expect it) when they refuse to stand against such falsehood in our time? Do they believe that God is hiding in the clouds unaware of the apostasy that is taking place?

How Deception Works
Many of you may not have heard these things before, because you have been bamboozled by the modern day preachers. I have written about the compromisers such as Billy Graham who has been compromising with Rome for many decades now, and he has led many to believe that the Roman Catholic church is just another Christian denomination.

Luis Palau is another compromiser from South America, and he has been accurately described as the “Billy Graham of South America” Listen to his own words from a “Christianity Today” article from March of last year, regarding  Jorge Bergoglio (Pope Francis)

What can you tell me about Bergoglio’s leadership style?
He’s a very Bible-centered man, a very Jesus Christ-centered man. He’s more spiritual than he is administrative, although he’s going to have to exercise his administrative skills now! But personally, he is more known for his personal love for Christ. He’s really centered on Jesus and the Gospel, the pure Gospel.

[Luis Palau: Why It Matters that Pope Francis Drinks Mate with Evangelicals, An interview with international evangelist (and native Argentine) on his friend, Jorge Bergoglio. Melissa Steffan/ MARCH 14, 2013]
Evangelist Luis Palau put his hand of approval upon the Pope, who preaches a false gospel, and he has also declared the Pope to be a Bible centered man. Did Luis Palau say that the Pope was a Bible centered man? Go tell that to the hundreds of thousands of martyrs who were butchered by Rome for trying to get the scriptures into the hands of the common people. The Roman Catholic Bible has additional books including two additional chapters to the book of Daniel, as well as numerous books in their apocrypha. Not only that, but they put their own man-made tradition on a totally equal level with the scriptures (the Bible). So when you listen to the words of Luis Palau, you need to keep that in mind. Luis Palau said that the Pope (Jorge Bergoglio) was centered on “the pure gospel” and I find that statement to be absolutely amazing. The pure gospel of Jesus Christ has nothing to do with a Roman Catholic priest satisfying the justice of God for sins committed against him, and that is EXACTLY what the Pope’s Roman Catholic Church teaches! I must tell you that this is how deception works. People will simply take the words of a well known Christian such as Luis Palau and believe them as if they were true. Luis Palau declared the Pope to be centered on the pure gospel, but the teachings of Rome of which the Pope is the head is anything BUT the pure gospel of Jesus Christ.

Israeli President Shimon Peres, Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew I, Pope Francis and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas leave after a prayer meeting in Vatican Gardens
Here is where you come in. Do YOU believe the words of Luis Palau regarding the Pope and his gospel, or do you believe the Bible and what it declares to be the pure gospel? The Bible tells us that there is a curse upon all false gospels and if the Roman Catholic gospel is NOT a false gospel, then there is no such thing as a false gospel!

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:8-10)

The problem in our present day has intensified, because the “big name Christians” in Christianity will continually elevate, and adulate, people such as Billy Graham and Luis Palau, and thus they strengthen and amplify, the great deception that has been created. Many in the modern day church have risen to the high places in the “church world” because of their man pleasing ways. They believe the words of men, rather than the word of God! There is a price to pay for all of that in the end though, because the word of God will never return void.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11)

The word of God can never fail, and the Lord will always have his way. In other words it is impossible for a false gospel to get by the all seeing eyes of God, and thus the Lord is not unaware to what is happening in the world today. The Lord is totally aware of every so called man, or woman of God, who has allowed the false teachings of Rome and other false religions to enter into the church, while they closed their eyes and looked the other way. The Lord is also aware of those who have given their endorsement to the church of Rome, and who have thus allowed their congregations to be swayed by their “leadership.” If you want a supreme example of what can happen to the leader of a church when they get seduced by Rome, take a look at what happened to Swedish Pastor Ulf Ekman, who has recently converted to Roman Catholicism. This is a must read post for all Christians who might be interested.

Many well known ministers fudge, and sugar-coat the gospel, simply because they do not want to endure the persecution, and rejection which naturally comes when a person speaks out against such things. Some do this because they are already working hand in hand with some of these “Christian leaders”, and they do not want to lose their “connection” with the “in-crowd” of modern day Christianity. They know that the funds to their ministries and churches would suffer greatly, and they make the wrong choice, by going the wrong way. Multitudes have gone that same way before them also, so there is nothing new under the Sun!

The Bible also tells us that there is only ONE mediator between God and man, and his name is Jesus Christ. Mary has nothing to do with anything, and she is the one whom the present Pope Francis entrusted the “Holy Land” into.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (1 Timothy 2:5)

The Holy Spirit of truth showed me that I did not have to call upon Mary, or go through her to get to Jesus Christ. For years I prayed my Hail Mary prayers on my rosary beads, UNTIL I got saved, and the Spirit of truth brought me out. Luis Palau and Billy Graham ought to be rebuked by every “Holy Ghost filled” Pastor in North and South America, and every other true Pastor who comes in contact with them. The blood of countless martyrs who stood against Rome, is screaming out against Luis Palau and Billy Graham even as I write. That is how deception works, and the leaders of Christian churches throughout the world are responsible for what they tell their congregations, and they are responsible for warning them too!

What About Shimon Peres (Jewish) and Mahmoud Abbas (Muslim)
What about the other two who prayed with Pope Francis? Shimon Peres is the Jewish President of Israel, but he does not believe that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah). How does the Bible deal with that? How can we know whether or not Shimon Peres is serving the true God or not? Did Jesus Christ have anything to say about this? Yes he did, and he held nothing back either:

Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. (John 8:42-45)

Jesus Christ spoke those words to the Jewish religious leaders who believed what the Jewish religious leaders of today believe. They rejected Jesus as Messiah, and they made no bones about it either. Here is another passage of scripture which show you how the Jewish religious leaders felt about Jesus calling himself the Son of God!

And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. (John 5:16-18)

Jesus declared that he was sent from God, and if a person rejects that then they make God out to be a liar!
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (1 John 5:10-12)

The Jewish President does not believe that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), nor does he believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The Muslim President of Palestine does not even believe that God has a Son, but they believe Jesus to be one of God’s prophets. So what “god” were they praying to when the Roman Catholic Pope invited them to pray for peace? Was it the God of truth or were they praying to a false “god”?

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:10-12)

THE ISLAMIZING OF AMERICA’S CHURCHES HOW SOME PASTORS ARE SELLING OUT THE FAITH

Berlin House of One: The first church-mosque-synagogue?

A woman holds a model of the House of One
Berlin thinks it is making religious history as Muslims, Jews and Christians join hands to build a place where they can all worship. The House of One, as it is being called, will be a synagogue, a church and a mosque under one roof.

An architecture competition has been held and the winner chosen. The striking design is for a brick building with a tall, square central tower. Off the courtyard below will be the houses of worship for the three faiths - the synagogue, the church and the mosque. It is to occupy a prominent site - Petriplatz - in the heart of Berlin.

The location is highly significant, according to one of the three religious leaders involved, Rabbi Tovia Ben Chorin. "From my Jewish point of view the city where Jewish suffering was planned is now the city where a centre is being built by the three monotheistic religions which shaped European culture," he told the BBC.
Can they get on? "We can. That there are people within each group who can't is our problem but you have to start somewhere and that's what we are doing."

The imam involved, Kadir Sanci, sees the House of One as "a sign, a signal to the world that the great majority of Muslims are peaceful and not violent". It's also, he says, a place where different cultures can learn from each other.
Each of the three areas in the House will be the same size, but of a different shape, architect Wilfried Kuehn points out.
Architect Wilfried Kuehn holds the model of House of One
Floorplan of The House of One
"Each of the singular spaces is designed according to the religious needs, the particularities of each faith," he says. "There are for instance two levels in the mosque and the synagogue but there's only one level in the church. There will be an organ in the church. There are places to wash feet in the mosque."
He and his team of architects researched designs for the three types of worshipping place and found more similarities than expected.

"What's interesting is that when you go back a long time, they share a lot of architectural typologies. They are not so different," Kuehn says. "It's not necessary for instance for a mosque to have a minaret - it's only a possibility and not a necessity. And a church doesn't need a tower. This is about going back to the origins when these three faiths were close and shared a lot architecturally".
In the past, different faiths have used the same buildings but not usually at the same period. Mosques in southern Spain became cathedrals after the Christian conquest. In Turkey, churches became mosques. In Britain old Welsh chapels have sometimes become mosques as areas change - and Brick Lane mosque in the East End of London started as a church in the 18th Century, later became a synagogue before turning to Islam, and has now become a place of worship for the newly arrived Muslim community.
But that's different from the three faiths worshipping as neighbours under one roof.
German Pastor Gregor Hohberg, Israeli Rabbi Tovia Ben-Chorin and German-Turkish Imam Kadir Sanci hold three bricks
The hands of Rabbi Tovia Ben-Chorin, Father Gregor Hohberg and Imam Kadir Sanci are see as they hold symbolic bricks
The idea came from the Christian side of the triangle.
Pastor Gregor Hohberg, a Protestant parish priest, says it will be built where the first church in Berlin, dating back to the 12th Century, was once situated. St Petri's Church was badly damaged at the end of World War Two as the Red Army liberated Berlin. What remained was destroyed in the period after the war by the East German authorities.
Then, six years ago, archaeologists uncovered remains from an ancient graveyard and it was decided that something should be done to resurrect a community and its place of worship. The project expanded and changed from a single-faith building to the present three-faith plan. Money is now being raised to turn the architects' plans into bricks and mortar.
St Peter's Church in 1850 and graves being discovered in 2008 St Peter's Church in 1850, and graves being excavated in 2008
Each faith will keep its distinctive ways within its own areas, Pastor Hohberg says.
"Under one roof: one synagogue, one mosque, one church. We want to use these rooms for our own traditions and prayers. And together we want to use the room in the middle for dialogue and discussion and also for people without faith.
"Berlin is a city where people come together from all over the world and we want to give a good example of togetherness."
It was not always the Berlin way.

Vatican partners with Islamic museum for unique exhibition

For the first time ever, the Vatican is staging an unusual exhibition in the Emirate of Shajah. The show is seen as a sign of openness and cooperation between religions.
Ulrike al-Khamis has outdone herself. In a project that began six years ago, the art historian from Germany was tasked with bringing the extensive collections of the Emir of Sharjah into shape when the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization was renovated and re-opened. The exhibition she is now presenting in a sparkling domed building almost the size of a soccer field has exceeded expectations.

"It is the first collaboration of the Vatican with an Arab country," said al-Khamis. Indeed, the exhibition is one-of-a-kind - not only because it presents excellent artworks but also because it furthers dialogue between Christians and Muslims.

A mashup of Western arts, Islam and Buddhism
A Chinese vase from the early 18th century bearing an Arabic inscription, Photo: sharjahmuseums.ae On display: a Chinese vase from the early 18th century bearing an Arabic inscription
The artworks on show from the Ethnological Museum of the Vatican stem from the 12th to the 19th century, but also include valuable objects from everyday life in the Arab world. Vases and bracelets, seals and armor, tapestries and precious daggers are on display. All the works come from the Islamic region between Morocco and Sudan all the way to Western China, but are now owned by the Vatican.

Many of the objects embody the dialogue between the Muslim and Western worlds. There's a dime-sized Koran produced in a print shop in Glasgow, and yellow mugs from Western China that bear an Arabic inscription surrounded by lotus flowers, which are a Buddhist symbol.

"We had only one year to prepare this show," said Ulrike al-Khamis. When the German art expert began advising in Sharjah, one of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates, she did not know what she was getting herself into.

"I traveled to Rome with my colleagues. We, the experts from Sharjah, and some Christian art historians searched the chambers of the Vatican together and discovered several pieces that had never been exhibited before," she recalled.

The result is a unique show in Sharjah that presents a comprehensive look at Islam.

Presents for the Pope

Most of the objects now on show had arrived in the Vatican in 1925 when Pope Pius XI hosted a kind of international cultural exhibition comprised of gifts presented to him from private donors and missionaries stationed all around the world. There were artworks by Australian aborigines as well as pieces from Latin America, Asia and Polynesia. From the Islamic world, there were swords and seals, jewelry and garments. It was a truly global exhibition.

Around 100,000 works of art were collected in Rome for the show, but needed a permanent location after that. In 1926, the Pope established a new museum to keep the works, the Ethnological Museum, which was housed in the Lateran Palace. Half a century later, the museum was relocated to its present site in the Vatican.

However, it has been shut down several times since then and never fully reopened. The museum's current director, Father Nicola Mapelli, has sought to make the collection's works available via partnerships with other cultural institutions - such as the Museum of Islamic Civilization in Sharjah.

The art of diplomacy
In the case of Sharjah, the Vatican's museum found a like-minded partner. The small emirate is led by Sultan al-Qasimi, an intellectual interested in culture who's written a number of books himself and is interested in furthering intercultural dialogue. More than 20 years ago, al-Qasimi launched the most important biennial for contemporary art in the Arab world, the Sharjah Biennial, and more than 40 museums have been established under his reign.

The fact that Rome is lending its works for the first time is an act of diplomacy in line with Pope Francis's current policies. While Pope Benedict XVI had distanced himself from other religions, his successor is pursuing a different policy. In October last year, during a speech for the sponsors of the Ethnological Museum, Pope Francis pointed out the unifying role of culture in religious, social and moral matters.
In the exhibition catalog, the Vatican writes that it will treat the Islamic objects "with the same amount of respect as the Leonardos, Raffaels and Michaelangelos." Fittingly, the title of the exhibition is "So that you may know each other." which is actually a verse from the Koran in response to the question of why people are so different.
Mutual understanding between Christians and Muslims is exactly what the exhibition aims at. Taking history into account, dialogue between the religious groups cannot be taken for granted.

Pope Francis Orders Vatican To Create First Ever Art Exhibition To Promote Chrislam

Francis carrying on Rick Warren’s work with Chrislam

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

Pope Francis can best be described as a man on a mission. That mission seems to be the unification of the Vatican’s Roman Catholic system with Islam. This demonic hybrid is what is more commonly known as Chrislam. Francis is building on the already impressive body of work in this field started by apostate Emergent Church preacher Rick Warren.

German website DW reports that for the first time ever, the Vatican is staging an unusual exhibition in the Emirate of Shajah. The show is seen as a sign of openness and cooperation between religions.

Museveni lambasted by Christians for courting self-professed god, Omukama Ruganga Owobusobozi Bisaka

Museveni praises cult leader Bisaka for preaching unity

'Museveni Should Avoid Cult Leaders'

President Yoweri Museveni's recent participation in a ceremony organised by renowned cultist Owobusobozi Bisaka in western Uganda has attracted fury from Christian believers.

Museveni meeting Owobusobozi Bisaka last week in Kibaale District

A self-professed god, Omukama Ruganga Owobusobozi Bisaka, head on the cult group "Faith and Unity," was last Tuesday celebrating his 83rd birthday in Kagadi Kibaale district where in attendance was president Museveni as Chief guest.

Addressing the congregation comprising thousands of barefooted members dressed in white tunics, Museveni hailed the works of the cult leader, and asked them to maintain the spirit of unity as a prerequisite for development.

“Your motto of 'Okwahukana kuhoireho' (separation is over) is good for unity of people. Omukulu Bisaka must have derived the motto from the problems of division Uganda suffered years ago. I thank the elder Bisaka for training you to maintain self-sufficiency.”

The development however has not gone well with Christian faith leaders.

Pastor Abed Bwanika of the Christian Witness Church in Kampala accused the president of "associating with people who blaspheme God" and warned that he would face the same wrath like Muammar Gaddafi who ridiculed the Holy Bible."

Bwanika, who is also President General of the People's Development Party, said it was unacceptable for the president of Uganda to hang around someone who called himself God.

"It was unfortunate that our president was not only in attendance but he reciprocated by giving (Bisaka) a car and large sums of money," noted Bwanika.

Museveni at the event made a donation of Shs 40m, a Pajero and handed over cash of Shs 20m to facilitate the celebrations of the elder’s birthday and commissioning of his house. He said that the balance of Shs 20m would be delivered later.

"Uganda is a God-fearing nation and Museveni, as the Fountain of Honour should have desisted from such a blasphemous occasion," added Bwanika.

By letting Bisaka call himself god in his face, Bwanika said, Museveni was not doing the right thing.

Who is Owobusobozi?
Owobusobozi Bisaka claims to have supernatural powers to heal all kind of illnesses and says he is able to unite people from around the world.

Born in 1930 at Kitoma, Kibizi in Kibaale district, Bisaka says that throughout his life, he had wanted to be a Priest but that this did not come to pass.

The former Grade III teacher claims that the voice of God of Hosts (the Creator) appeared to him and urged him to start saving people and preaching about oneness.

That is how he broke away from the Catholic religion and its bible teachings.

He wrote his own book, which he says is the basis of the entire 'oneness faith'. Owobusobozi Bisaka claims that bible teachings bring about divisions, which he says are manifested by the so many religions, emanating from within the same bible.

The National Curriculum Development Center gave the Faith of Unity cult a pre-condition of their book being endorsed by the President before they can approve it for use in the Schools.

While responding to the request of the elder Bisaka to endorse his book last week, (The book of God), President Museveni said that he would read it and give his stand within two months.

Kabale cult boss slams Bible

WESTERN religion is being used to colonise Africa, Owobusobozi Desteo Bisaka, a cult leader in Uganda’s south-western district of Kibaale, has said.

How can we boast of independence when we still cherish religions brought by foreigners? We are now shunning our indigenous religions, considering them to be Satanic, Bisaka said.

He said Africans must cherish religions that arose from their own cultures, as it was before the colonial era.

He made the remarks on Saturday at Kagadi Freedom Square at a function to thank the National Resistance Movement Government for respecting freedom of worship in the country.

He added that Africans have a long way to go in understanding that God is not white-skinned, and that it is not only white people who are holy.

Bisaka and his believers, clad in white clothes, also thanked the Government for freedom of speech and association.
We must thank President (Yoweri) Museveni and his government for the favourable environment and laws in the country,  Bisaka said.

He founded his Faith of Unity church, in the early 1980s. Bisaka is the son of a leading Roman Catholic catechist, Petero Byombi.

Born in 1930 at Kitoma

“Kibizi in Kibaale district, Bisaka set his heart on being a Catholic priest in his youth. But this did not come to pass. The former Grade III teacher claims he heard a voice from God urging him to preach ‘’oneness’’.

He tuned his back on the Roman Catholic Church and the Bible. He wrote his own book, the basis of the faith. Bisaka claims the Bible brings about division, noting the numerous religions that use the holy book.

Bisaka’s disciples, led by the Abakwenda(his prophets), thanked him for initiating the church.

They gave him a car valued at sh106m.
The function drew thousands of Bisaka followers from within Uganda and Canada.

Down town, was last Saturday painted white as the followers of Owobusobozi Bisaka, (the Almighty Bisaka), entered the city for what they called a national ceremony to pray for peace in the country at Nakivubo Stadium.

Clad in white gowns, the abaikiriza (believers) as the sect is called, trekked to Nakivubo in thousands from Bisaka’s Palace in Nansana, where they had spent the night.

Traffic and economic activities around Kampala-Hoima road and areas surrounding the old Taxi Park were brought to a standstill, as people stood on rooftops, on top of cars to witness the white invasion onto the city.

After hours of waiting, Owobusobozi, 78, (a Runyoro word for the only one with authority) and his wife arrived at around 11:00am in a gray Mitsubishi Pajero escorted by a fleet of six more vehicles to a thrilling welcome from his slogan chanting followers.
˜Kwahukana Kuhoireho  Kwahukana Kuhoireho (disunity has ended) they shouted. Bisaka’s followers competed to lay their clothes on the ground for him to walk on.

The followers of the self-styled father of unity, most of who came from as far as Kisoro, Rwanda, Rakai, Kibaale (where the headquarters of the sect are found), Kasese, Masindi, Rukungiri, and Kampala had started flocking the stadium by 8:00am.

No sooner had Bisaka settled down than his Bakwenda (cult zone heads) welcomed the founder and leader of the 23-year-old Faith of Unity, with cash gifts of over sh10m, before the rest of the faithfuls could make their personal thanksgiving in this seemingly hierarchical sect.

But the moment of the day was to come when later, the Owobusobozi Bisaka, a man not known to most Ugandans rose up from his seat, to greet his followers. Hands of his followers dug in their pockets for money to thank and acquire blessings from their god.
It is difficult to fathom, how a staunch Catholic, who once worked for Hoima Diocese and composed songs for the Catholic faith, had now formed his own cult called Abaikiriza.

Yes. Hard to believe that Desteo Bisaka as he was know until 1980, the son of a leading catholic catechist, Petero Byombi could be here commanding such a big anti-Catholicism following.

Born in 1930 at Kitoma, Kibizi in Kibaale district, Bisaka says that throughout his life, he had wanted to be a priest, but this did not come to pass.

The former Grade III teacher claims that the voice of God of Hosts (the Creator) appeared to him and urged him to start saving people and preaching about oneness.
He broke away from the Catholic faith and wrote his own book, which he says is the basis of the entire oneness faith.

Owobusobozi Bisaka claims that the Bible teachings bring about divisions, which he says is manifested by the so many religions that have sprang from the Bible.
He further says that the Bible bears no signature like his book, The Book of God, of the Age of Oneness because its writers knew that the words within them were not right.

This is according to his book, where he says that in God, there are several major spirits ” The lord God of Hosts, The Lord God of the Holiness of God and The Lord God of the Power of God ” Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi, Bisaka.
He has faced criticism from Christians, but the soft-spoken Bisaka, seems to be gathering more followers by the day.

Bisaka claims that he has healing powers and powers of saving people from satan, the enemy, and the diseases. He says that the second, 12th and 22nd days (days when his cult holds prayers) of very month are God Days set for miracles, but that salvation is daily.

Bisaka is married with children, whom he calls abenda yo Obusobozi (children from the body of that who has authority over everything.)
Although he claims that his faith is an African indigenous one, Bisaka does not believe in medicine used by the traditional healers, instead encouraging the use of his holy water.

People have expressed concern about the number of illiterate people who he has manipulated and deceived to give the little they have, to get blessings.
At the end of last year, there were media reports that Bisaka’s followers were planning to buy him an aeroplane. Bisaka has just finished building a multi-million Itambiro (house of worship) complex at his home in Kapyemi, Kibaale.

There was an air filled with excitement Wednesday evening as the founder of the Faith of Unity cult, Owobusobozi Bisaka, married a 29-year-old woman in a traditional ceremony.

Owobusobozi, aged 82 was introduced to Teopista Musasizi’s family of the late Petero Kyakurugaha of Buyaga village in Kyenzige sub-county in Kibaale district.

The organizers of the function did not want it to be made public, but New Vision online was there and followed all the events as they unfolded.

At around 5.30pm, Bisaka’s entourage arrived at Kyakurugaha’s home and was welcomed by a group of Bakwenda [apostles] who ushered them into a tent.

A few minutes later, women emerged from the house as they danced and sat on a mat in front of Bisaka. One elderly woman from Bisaka’s entourage then picked Musasizi from the group and gave her a flower.
Musasizi then placed a white cloth on Bisaka amidst jubilations and chants of praise. Bisaka, clad in a white Kanzu and a sweater, remained seated throughout function, unlike other usual introduction ceremonies, where the bridegroom moves around searching for the bride.

During the function, the Bakwenda thanked Bisaka for choosing a wife from that family.
“Our lord, you have blessed this family by marrying from it and we are very happy,” one of the them said, while kneeling before Bisaka.
The function went on till 11.00pm.

Unlike other cultural marriage functions in Bunyoro, where the groom finds the bride at her parents’ home, Bisaka came with Musasizi.

Originally, Bisaka was married to one wife, but upon her death in 2009, he married two more women. Unfortunately, one of them died shortly into the union.

Musasizi becomes his fourth wife. Bisaka preaches that men should marry many wives to avoid adultery.
The Faith of Unity cult, which started in 1980, has over one million followers in Uganda, Rwanda, Congo and Southern Sudan.

'Museveni Should Avoid Cult Leaders'

President Yoweri Museveni's recent participation in a ceremony organised by renowned cultist Owobusobozi Bisaka in western Uganda has attracted fury from Christian believers.
